Biarritz in the Basque Country is the area of the South West Coast of France by the border of Spain. It is set between the Pyrenees Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Its inhabitants are naturally cordial, accessible and like to make you discover their way of life, traditions and gastronomy... Close to Spain, the opportunity to cross the border is handy through day trips to San Sebastian or Bilbao. Biarritz offers all possibilities for daytime holiday activities and cosmopolitan nightlife. The city has become a renowned “surfers paradise” thanks to its long sandy beaches and mild climate all year long. It is world famous for its Surf Festival that attracts champions from all over the world.
Cannes is on the Côte d’Azur, the French Riviera, speaks for itself. Its Mediterranean coast-line, forests, canyons, and mountains, its typical Provencal villages, its gastronomy, culture and history as well as its renowned festivals have made the reputation of the region. Cannes is an outstanding site of natural beauty with its old town overlooking the Bay and the Lerins Islands. The heart of the city is around the Palais des Festivals and the sea-side Promenade with prestigious hotels and shops. Put on your sunglasses and take a walk down the famous La Croisette, you will feel like a star... and maybe meet one!

By staying with a host family you will experience the daily life of a French family and have a chance to practice French daily with your hosts.
Our host families are carefully selected by our local coordinator.
Our families host international students for the pleasure of sharing a unique cultural experience, introducing the French way of life, and habits to a student and learning at the same time about the student’s own culture.
