Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower time-stamped electronic ticketing. If you buy your tickets in advance, you will have a more comfortable access to the monument. Time-stamped sessions limit waiting time by giving set start times for visits based round the loading of the elevators. The ticket you will receive following the transaction is an electronic one: it has a barcode that will be scanned at the entrance to the monument.
When you arrive at the base of the Eiffel Tower, entry lines for visitors holding tickets will be indicated. Go towards these lines. An agent will then check the validity of your ticket.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
ARTICLE 3: PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
3.1 - PURCHASE PROCEDURES
Customers select the number of Tickets they want, the floor that they wish to visit and the date and time of the visit, depending upon availability. The available times are those mentioned on the Site. Certain time-periods may be full and therefore not available.
ARTICLE 4 - TICKETS
4.1 - RESTRICTIONS IN USING THE TICKET
The Ticket is solely valid for the floor, date and time-period indicated thereon.
The Ticket may not be returned, exchanged or reimbursed, subject to the stipulations specified in article 5 of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Since every Ticket is personal and non-transferrable, the Ticket cannot be sold by the Customer to a third-party. In this respect, SETE reserves the right to request that a currently valid official identity document with a photo be shown and it may refuse admission to the Eiffel Tower to any holder of a Ticket that may have been acquired unlawfully.
ARTICLE 5 - CANCELLATION - REFUNDS
In accordance with article L. 121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, the Tickets are not subject to the right of withdrawal. Every Ticket purchase is definitive and may not give rise to retraction by the Customer.
Any Ticket purchased may not be either returned or refunded, even if it is lost, stolen or forgotten on the occasion of the visit. No duplicate copy may be delivered to the Customer.
SETE may have to restrict or cancel the Eiffel Tower visit.
The Customer may therefore obtain the total or partial refund of the Ticket price if admission to all or part of the Eiffel Tower is restricted for a period of more than two (2) consecutive hours for a reason other than a Force Majeure event (such as the closure of the floor booked on the visit date).
In this case, only the amount corresponding to the access limitation resulting from this restriction may give rise to a refund. For example, if admission to the 3rd floor is interrupted then only the amount corresponding to the additional ticket price for admission to the 3rd floor may give rise to a refund, the 1st and 2nd floors remaining open for visit.
A refund form is available on the Site and from the "Information" counter. The Customer should send this completed refund form, together with unused tickets, within a maximum period of one (1) month after the visit date. No request for refund shall be taken into account after this period.
No refund shall be made on the spot. No refund or exchange shall be made in the event of delays or of admission to the lift not being possible due to the Customer being late, or in the event of delays attributable to the monument's operation.
The Ticket holder may not make any claim nor request a refund or compensation if there is a Force Majeure event, such as unfavourable weather conditions (frost, wind, snow, etc) or a decision by the Public Authorities, disrupting the proper operation of the monument visit and leading, if necessary, to its total or partial closure.
ARTICLE 6 - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION TO THE MONUMENT
6.1 - RECEPTION AND PROCEDURES FOR THE VISIT
The visitor with their Ticket goes to the visitors’ reception located in front of the pillar. Admission will be in the order in which visitors with a Ticket for the current time-period arrive.
Admission to the Eiffel Tower is only guaranteed for the date and the half-hour following the time shown on the Ticket under normal operating conditions; it is specified that in a case of Force Majeure or of a delay attributable to the monument's operation, visitors with a reservation shall be admitted to the lift in the order of the reservations.
The date and time shown on the Ticket correspond to the time of the security check at the foot of the monument, before entering the 1st lift. Under no circumstances will the indicated time apply to the trip to the summit, which requires changing lifts on the 2nd floor. If there are a lot of visitors there may be a waiting period.
The type of ticket purchased determines the terms and conditions of admission to the monument and the area or areas visited: either from the ground to the 2nd floor or from the ground to the summit. If several floors are visited, the visit begins with the highest floor.
1. The lift entrance ticket corresponds to the visit to the 2nd and 1st floors. The lift entrance ticket with access to the Summit corresponds to the visit to the summit, 2nd and 1st floors.
2. All visitors with tickets exit the lift on the 2nd floor.
3. Visitors with tickets for the summit change lift on the 2nd floor and go to the upper platform for the lifts that take them to the summit.
Visitors have the option of visiting the other floors on their downward journey.
Each ticket only confers the right to a single entry and must be kept until the end of the visit.
