You may have a quick or gastronomic lunch in the village and then walk to the "Museum of Impressionism” (no more than 80 metres).

The “museum of Impressionism” in Giverny is dedicated to the history of Impressionism and its continuation in the Giverny art colony and along the Valley of the River Seine.

A hostess accompanies you to the entrance of the Palace of Versailles to collect tickets and audio guides.

Visit the Royal Apartments and the gardens in your own time.

Meet up with the hostess around 14.30 for departure to Giverny.

With no waiting in line, visit Claude Monet’s house and walk through the « Clos Normand » gardens and the « Nympheas »water garden where the artist found inspiration for his greatest masterpieces. 

After your visit, the coach takes you back to Paris.

Chambord: You will be amazed by the size and the beauty of François the First’s Renaissance castle with its double helix staircase designed by Leonardo Da Vinci.

Cheverny: The « enchanted palace » has belonged to the same family for the past 6 centuries. The owners still live there; the interior decoration is magnificent. Hergé, author of the famous Tintin and Snowy books, used Cheverny as a model for Marlinspike Hall.

Free time for quick lunch

Chenonceau: Uniquely, the « Château des Dames » (Ladies’ Castles) is built over the riverbed. You will be enchanted by the delicate architecture, the fine quality of its collections and the formal garden « à la Française ».
