Situated on Belle-Ile, just minutes from the wild coast, La Desirade is the ideal place for you to recharge your batteries with your friends and family: : decorated in pastel tones, with natural wood and soft fabrics.
We pay particular attention to the first meal of the day. Served between 8 and 11am in the breakfast room or by the side of the pool, it is a copious and varied brunch buffet with plenty of homemade delicacies.
The restaurant is situated in a separate cottage surrounded by an aromatic and floral garden. It is a gastronomic restaurant committed to the exclusive use of fresh produce and mostly products from the Belle-Ile area. This is combined with the professionalism and the creativity of our chef Pacome Epron and his team.
Denis Lebailly our head waiter, and his team provide advice to help you choose between the menu suggestion, inspired by the daily market, and served in Le Forge, a room of Mediterranean colours, or the a la carte menu, served in La Table, an intimately decorated room dedicated to the pleasures of taste.
Finally there is an imaginative wine list offering something for everyone; an abundance of "pleasure in a bottle". We are also able to prepare picnic baskets for you to take on your outings.

Situated in the heart of Belle-Ile, La Desirade is the ideal starting point for discovering the island (on foot, by bicycle, boat, kayak, horse or plane.), but it is also the arrival point where relaxation and conviviality are on the agenda.
The beaches of Donnant and Kerel are just 20minutes walk away. You have easy access to the 104km of coastal paths and cycle routes. The Needles of Port Coton are 1.5km away.

Getting There:

Access to Belle Ile :
- By boat from Quiberon: embarkation at Port Maria, up to 10 crossings a day in season, either by regular ferry (45mins crossing) or by high speed ferry (no vehicles, 20mins crossing). www.smnn-navigation.fr

Access to Quiberon : - By car: Take the RN165 from Nantes to Brest, exit at Auray, take direction Quiberon, 26km. Paris - Quiberon: 505km, Rennes - Quiberon: 155km, Nantes - Quiberon: 160km.

Access to La Desirade : You will arrive on the island at the port of Le Palais. The hotel is situated close to the wild coast (1,5km from the Needles of Port Coton and Donnant beach and about 5km from the port). There are buses and taxis available if you do not have transport.
