With its astonishing feudal mound, the Chateau-Hotel de Brelidy, a beautiful, carefully-restored 16th century residence, dominates 12 hectares of woodland and 2 rivers with stretches of private fishing and a lake.
Renovated with passion by Pierre Yoncourt, the current owner, acquired it in 1969 and undertook to restore it? Work lasted for 15 years, restoring it to its original condition, following the advice of the "Buildings of France" and the "Historic Buildings", with local materials. Opened to the public in 1985 with 4 bed and breakfast rooms, the castle became a 3 star hotel and run by Mr William Langlet in the kitchen, and Carole Langlet at the reception and restaurant, now place their professionalism and their enthusiasm at your service.
Large pages of Breton history still impregnate the site of the Chateau de Brelidy. Feudality and Chouannerie have given character to this proud 16th century building. To live this past for a few peaceful days, the Chateau de Brelidy has pretty bedrooms andone beautifully decorated suite of rooms, with comfortable guest lounges, billiard room, library and relaxation room. 5 bedrooms open onto the gardens and have individual terraces. The pavilion, the old "bread oven", with its vast mezzanine, is a perfect setting for family meals and wedding receptions.
Restaurant in the evening: William proposes his fine, inventive cooking, with its flavours of the sea and its original local dishes.
