Set in the heart of a 5-hectare park crossed by its own stream and situated on the banks of the Saone river, the Chateau de Rigny offers 28 bedrooms in the Chateau, the Pavilion and the Magnanerie. Each in its category provides a perfect synthesis of antique charm and modern comfort.
Each bedroom in the hotel is different but they are all equally charming. Their decor and period furniture, quiet and cosiness, all create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
Enjoy being cocooned in the elegant drawing rooms or in the warmth of the open fireplaces in the magnificent halls on chilly autumn and winter days, or basking in the sunshine on the terrace in the summer.
How wonderful to sip an aperitif in one of the drawing-rooms, beside an open fire or on the terrace.
Under the beams of it typical French ceiling (plafond a la francaise) and its Louis XVI panelling, authentic French dishes based on seasonal products are served, allying local tradition and classical cuisine.
The wine list offers a wide choice of young and mature wines, particularly from the Burgundy and Jura area, but also from the other wine producing regions of France.
In summer, the shaded terrace overlooking the park and the Saone is ideal for open-air breakfasts serenaded by birdsong.
