Marc Franzoni and his team welcome you to the Prieure, a chateau-hotel full of charm close to Saumur, with a unique view over the Loire Valley.
Le Prieure is a charming manor house hotel dating from the 12th and 16th centuries in Chenehutte-les-Tuffeaux close to Saumur in the Loire Valley. The hotel looks out over the River Loire and its islands and in the distance is King Rene's 15th-century fairy tale castle dominating this pastoral scene and the medieval town of Saumur. Gleaming white, Le Prieure has a stately presence with its vast chimneys and imposing towers as it stands proudly within its 62-acre wooded park that extends down to the river.
A team attentive to every wish welcomes you to the lounges, dinning rooms and terraces for relaxation and gustary pleasure.

Proposes a traditional and generous cooking in an exceptional site of peace of mind and harmony.
For 25 years, Jean Noel knew how to develop his quality cooking by revealing all the wealth of the local products : fishes of the Loire, the vegetables, the spices of the valley in agreement with the seasons.
His specialities:
Raviolis of Scampis with a Truffle creamy sauce, Back of Pikeperch in the wine of Chinon, Billet of Beef from Maine Anjou, Cottage cheese from Anjou with red Fruits
The restaurant
Situated in side of hillside, overhanging the Royal River, the lounge bar and the restaurant offer an open view on all the Loire Valley.
A warm and friendly service is reserved for you.
For the children, during the meal, we propose you some activities (games, colouring).
Every day, our chef proposes you his day suggestions
The card "Tentation" is served for lunch from Monday till Saturday (except holidays)
