Gallo-roman sarcophaguses for the cowboys of the pampas, a vast trip to far off lands.
Installed in the old Jacobean convent, the museum has large collections of gallo-roman archaeology, medieval art (recumbent statue of the cardinal jean of Armagnac), pre-Colombian art and of objects representing the colonial art of South America (Peru, Chile, Mexico). One section is dedicated to the equipment of the Argentinian gauchos.

The vast chancel has retained two sets of art works of the finest calibre. The first is the stained-glass windows byArnaud de Moles (1460-1520) the Gascon master, and the second being the enormous stalls, which are the work of the balifs. (113 oak stalls in total. 69 are high stalls topped by a with Flamboyant canopy accommoding 1500 characters) and which took 50 yrs to make. The big organ by Jean de Joyeuse can be heard live in June, at the Auch festival.

Accessible to people of restricted mobility Fans of Aeronautics should not miss the visit to this 500 m long by 200 m wide factory where the long distance aeroplanes of the Airbus programme are assembled. You will be able to watch the assembly work from a passageway which gives a panoramic view over the factory.
