The history of the Inn of the Blacksmith goes up with that of diligence. Seclin, located on the road of Paris was the last halt before Lille.
At that time a blacksmith was occupying himself of the horses and thus thereafter, one had been able to eat and even sleep. This inn which resists the time, which was partially destroyed during the war is the same one since 1951, exploited at the time by Mr. Capon. But since 1959 the Blacksmith is held by the Bélot family.
Last inn of charm of metropolis, the Inn of the Blacksmith, is characterized by his high gastronomy and its card from the wines.The menu of the Restaurant evolves according to the fresh products, the Chef prepares specialities: the langue lucullus au foie gras, the dôme de truffes fraîches du Périgord en salade et mousse de poireaux, the dos de bar sauvage à la crème de caviar et purée de pomme ratte, le parfait glacé au spéculos et sabayon à la bière blanche.
