Local Attractions:

- Collegiale St-Laurent
Here lies Michel de Nostre Dame, alias Nostradamus. This collegiate is a beautiful example of Southern Gothic architecture. You can see a multi-coloured lowering of the Cross and a 15C megalith.

- Nostradamus' House
Scenes animated by an audiovisual support illustrate the life and work of Nostradamus. He was born in Saint-Remy-de-Provence in 1503 and spent the last 19 years of his life in Salon, after many journeys to Europe and the East. In his retirement this doctor started to make successful astrological (and meteorological!) predictions, particularly since he predicted the accidental death of Henri II: an ideal start to his career!

- Grevin de Provence Museum
2 600 ans of Provence history. Accessible to people of restricted mobility. From the marriage of Gyptis and Protis to the present day, 15 paintings recall Provence's history and Myths.

- Emperi chateau and museum
Built on Le Puech Rock, a chateau overlooking the town from its imposing mass. Emperi is the word meaning the Holy Roman Empire, and several sovereigns stayed in this residence built between the 10 and 13C, and completed in the 16C by a Renaissance gallery. Saint Catherine's Chapel, the room of honour but also some thirty rooms house the museum, the collections of which describe the history of the French armies from Louis XIV to 1918: uniforms, harnesses, flags, over 10,000 items which will delight all those for whom the prestige of the uniform has real significance.
