Auto tours are proposed on half board in guest houses or in hotels (3 & 4 star). Moreover the accommodations can be isolated and it can be difficult to find a place to get dinner.
The inhabitants of the Reunion island, are used to eat early in the evening (19h), so it is recommend to arrive early at the accommodation

DAY 1: ST DENIS - SALAZIE
Welcome at Roland Garros airport. Going east to visit of La Vanilleraie at Sainte Suzanne. In Saint-André, Rivière du mât climb up, lines with big cliffs and carpets of gorgeous waterfalls. Stop in front of the “Voile de la Mariée” waterfall, which make the name of the Cirque. Direction the little village of Hell-Bourg, ancient spa of the island and lists among the most beautiful villages in France. Maison Folio visit possibility. Night in Salazie.
DAY 2: SALAZIE - SOUTH
Taking the direction of Saint Benoît in order to discover the green and luxurious East coast of the island. La Rivière des Roches, le bassin La Paix, La Mer, Takamaka view point. Stops at Sainte-Anne and Sainte-Rose churches, the fishermen marina of Anse des Cascades, the different Volcano eruptions’ lava flows. Saint-Philippe for its spices and perfumes garden and Grande Anse and Manapany-les-Bains wild beaches. Night in the South.
DAY 3: SOUTH - CILAOS
On the road to the Volcano, stop at Nez-de-Boeuf viewpoint then head for the site. Stop at Commerson crater, Plaine des Sables crossing and discovery of Dolomieu crater from “Le Pas de Bellecombe”. Hiking possibility on Volcano. Visit of the House of Volcano Visit of the House of Volcano in Bourg-Murat. Stop at Grand Bassin panoramic view point. Visit of the picturesque village of Entre-Deux. Then going to Cilaos: Located at foot of the higher summits of Reunion Island, Cilaos offers an unforgettable show. Night in Cilaos
DAY 4: CILAOS – ST GILLES
Cilaos Cirque visit: “La Roche Merveilleuse” viewpoint, the Embroidery House and Le Chai de Cilaos. Various hiking paths to explore. Back to the west coast. Stop at the “Gouffre” at Etang-Salé, and on the black sand beach. Before to arrive at Saint-Leu, stop at “Trou du Souffleur” in order to admire magnificent geysers. At St Leu visit of Stella Matutina Museum, the marine turtle study centre: Kélonia and the Conservatoire Botanique de Mascarins. Night in St Gilles.
DAY 5: ST GILLES – ST DENIS
Driving back to St Gilles in direction of the Piton Maïdo: beautiful scenery of Mafate. Meeting with a flower farmer at La Petite France. Friday: St Paul’s market. Night on the west coast. Visit of St Gilles.
Possibility to enjoy beautiful beaches and activities on the west coast.
Departure for the airport depending on the time of the flight.
