EP1 - CATHAR CASTLE OF MONSEGUR & FOIX (8 hours) – Full Day $146
Depart for a journey in the heart of Cathar country. First stop in Foix to discover the old town and its castle (optional). Have some free time for lunch, before continuing to bewildering Montségur. The castle symbolizes the resistance of the Cathar heresy that occurred in the 13th century. Finally overtaken in 1244, more than 200 Cathars were burnt here at the end of the siege. Hike up the “Pog” (good physical condition and walking shoes necessary) to visit the ruins of the castle. After your hike visit the archaeological museum of Montségur and discover how people lived in those days.

EP2 - ALBI / CORDES / GAILLAC (8 hours) – Full Day $131
During this tour you will visit Albi, newly declared World Heritage Site by Unesco, and its majestic cathedral, a must see for its preserved Renaissance paintings and Last Judgment, the Toulouse Lautrec museum (optional) and the old towns winding medieval streets. Then off to breathtaking Cordes sur Ciel, one of the most charming villages of the region in which still stand more than a hundred gothic houses. The tour finishes in Gaillac one of France’s oldest vineyards for a wine tasting experience.

EP3 - LOURDES (8 hours) – Full Day $177
Arrive at Lourdes and start by the visit of the sanctuaries. Here you will not only see the grotto but will also visit the three churches’ that were built on site, one on top of the other. After some free time for lunch, follow your guide as he takes you on the footsteps of Bernadette. First discover the house of the family when the father ran a mill and then on to the Cachot, a tiny cell in which the family lived during harder times. In 2008 the city celebrated the 150th anniversary of the apparitions.

EP4 - TOULOUSE & CARCASSONNE (8 ½ hours) – Full Day $138
Depart for a panoramic tour of Toulouse to admire the main monuments of the city: Capitol Square, St Sernin Basilica, St Etienne Cathedral and as well the Airbus Assembly Lines (panoramic tour). After some free time for lunch in Toulouse drive to Carcassonne. Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour of the 'Cité'. This powerful mediaeval fortress has defeated times, as it is one of the most well-preserved fortified medieval cities of Europe. As such, it has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1997 enabling the city to preserve most of its Gothic architectural treasures.

EP5 - ALBI (4 ½ hours) – Half Day $100
Albi is one of the three “Pink Cities” that you can find in our region. Built of bricks, the historical city centre is one of the most authentic in the region. The mighty cathedral, a unique example of southern gothic architecture, built after the Albigeois crusade is a must see for its preserved Renaissance paintings and Last Judgment. The walking tour will also make you explore the old town’s winding medieval streets and private mansions. The town also houses the largest collection of paintings by Henri de Toulouse Lautrec (optional).

EP6 - CARCASSONNE (4 ½ hours) – Half Day $100
Carcassonne is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding sites for those who dream to find out what medieval times were really about, as it is one of the most well-preserved fortified medieval cities of Europe. As such, it has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1997 enabling the city to preserve most of its Gothic architectural treasures. Upon arrival, walking tour of the 'Cité'. During the tour you will discover the Count's castle, the church of Saint Nazari / Saint Celsius to admire the most beautiful stained glass windows of southern France and finally the fortifications that surround the city.

EP7 - TOULOUSE CITY (2 hours) – Half Day $54
A unique way to discover the "pink city" under all its angles. First drive to the Airbus A380 Assembly factory. Then return by the Canal du Midi and the train station, discover the Old grain exchange transformed into a famous concert hall for classical music, then on to the Botanical Garden with its exotic plants, the Saint Michel bridge with a view on the old city, the water tower, the Saint Cyprien neighbourhood, the Modern Art Museum located in the old slaughter house, the Canal de Brienne, Capitol square, famous private mansion, St Etienne cathedral and finally arrive at Saint Sernin Basilica.

EP8 - VILLAGES OF THE VERE VALLEY (4 ½ hours) – Half Day $92
Discover the charming little villages of Bruniquel and Puycelsi, classified as most beautiful villages of France in an enchanting and authentic atmosphere of peace and harmony. Perched on top of a cliff, the first village is a fabulous testimony of what medieval villages looked like in the 13th century. Walking visit. Off to the second village located 20 km away, Puycelsi. The village is also perched and offers a typical image of the small authentic French village with its little church and Main Square where the elderly usually play pétanque. Walking tour of the village, visit of the church. The tour ends with a wine tasting session in or around Gaillac, one of the oldest vineyards of France.
