All our guides are licensed and bilingual. Each of them will give you a detailed historical and architectural visit of the highlights of Burgundy you wish to discover. He or she also has a great oenological knowledge (vine growing and wine elaboration) learned within the years of practice while meeting the local winemakers. Day 1 : Château du Clos Vougeot & Côte de Nuits.
Guided tour of chateau de Clos Vougeot and vineyards of the Côtes de Nuits, local lunch in a winery and afternoon tasting around Nuits-Saint-Georges.
Pick up: 9.30 Beaune
Transfer to Chateau du Clos de Vougeot.
Picturesque drive along the Côte de Nuits through the villages of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot. Discover the “Champs-Elysées” of Burgundy.
We will take advantage of being in those prestigious vineyards to explain the Terroir and the different stapes needed along the year to harvest the best Pinot Noir possible. L’expression du Terroir”.
Guided tour of the Chateau of Vougeot.
Founded in 1098 by monks, the vineyard of Clos de Vougeot covers 50 hectares. The castle houses the brotherhood of the knights of the tastevin. Its wines are ones of the most famous in Burgundy with a Grand Crus: Le Clos Vougeot. Today the vineyard is divided between 80 owners.
Tour and wine tasting of local domain and local lunch in Gevrey-Chambertin.
Discover a typical domain of Burgundy with its underground cellar where famous appellations aged in oak barrels. After the tasting, enjoy a local lunch with regional courses as the boeuf bourguignon.
Sightseeing along the Grands Crus road and stop at the famous Romanée-Conti. Considered as the most prestigious name of Burgundy, this plot of 1, 8 hectares produces the most expensive wine of the world.

Visit of the cellar and share an authentic moment with the winemaker around a tasting of his local wines.

Day 2: Beaune, Côte de Beaune & Meursault.
Guided tour of the Hospices de Beaune and vineyards of the Côtes de Beaune, local lunch in a winery and afternoon tasting in Meursault.

Typical example of Burgundy flamboyant gothic style, this former hospital founded in 1443 by the chancellor Nicolas Rolin and his wife Guigone de Salins is the testimony of the Flemish influence on the duchy of Burgundy. As far as architecture, it is worldwide famous for its colourful polychromatic glazed tile roofs. The Last Judgment triptych painting by Flemish painter Rogier Van Der Weyden is the highlight of the visit. You will tour the Salle des Pôvres (where the sick ones were looked after), the kitchens, the pharmacy and other rooms exhibiting artefacts and tapestries. Transfer to a local domain.
Picturesque drive through the famous villages of Pommard, Volnay, Meursault and the Château de Rochepot.
Tour and wine tasting lunch at a local domain: Prosper Maufoux in Santenay.
Founded in 1860, our house situated on Santenay's main square is home to superb vaulted cellars constructed over two levels, the oldest of which dates back to the 15th Century. It is in this context that we have the pleasure of showing you our jewels from the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits.

Driving through the vineyards and photo stop in the famous Grands Crus Bâtard-Montrachet, Chevalier Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, and Montrachet.

In 1848, Jean Ropiteau who was 24 founded his own wine house. The railway had just arrived in Meursault and Jean had the intuition that it would help make the fame of Burgundian wines. The name Ropiteau soon became synonymous to great white Burgundy wines. The cellars date back to the 15th century and are among the most prestigious in Burgundy.
