Day 1 Arrival in Dijon and check-in the hotel
Day 2 Dijon – Gevrey Chambertin (17km)
Dijon, Marsannay-la-Côte (a city reputed for its rosé wines), Fixin (where a 10th century church stands, and the oldest in the region), Parc Noisot, Brochon, Gevrey-Chambertin (a wine town still guarded by an ancient fortified castle). Lodging and breakfast in 3 star hotel.
Day 3 Gevrey Chambertin – Vougeot (10km)
Highlights: the Grand Cru vineyards towards Morey Saint Denis, the village of Chambolle Musigny, the narrow valley, the majestic Chateau de Clos Vougeot. Overnight stay in charming 3 star hotel facing the vineyards
Day 4 Vougeot- Beaune (30km)
Highlights: the Echezeaux, Grand Echezeaux vineyards, La Romanée, Romanée-Conti, Richebourg, la Tâche (some of the world’s greatest vineyards), Nuits Saint, the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, the village of Villers-la-Faye, Mont Saint Victor, Magny-les-Villers, the Côtes de Beaune, Pernant-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton (famous for white wines like Corton-Charlemagne), Chorey, Beaune (a magical Burgundian city of medieval charm, famous for its hospices and ramparts). Day 5 Beaune – Meursault (15km)
Highlights: Parc de la Bouzaise, Pommard, Volnay, Monthélie (with its Romanesque church built in the 12th century), Auxey-Duresses, Meursault (a beautiful village reputed for its white wines). Dinner, lodging and breakfast in 2 star hotel.
