01 April to 31 Octobe Dailty departure from 07.15

01 November to 31 March Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 07.15

Departure from Central Paris at 07:15 for a day trip to discover the fascinating Loire castles. After a bus ride of about 3 hours, during which you will gaze at typical French landscapes, you will arrive at the Chateau de Chenonceau.

Visit on your own this architectural masterpiece in a magical setting. Discover its complex history that was marked by the different women who built it throughout the years. This is the reason why the castle is also called the “Ladies’ Chateau”, illustrated by the refined decoration in each room. Thus, the famous Queen Catherine de Medici built the Florentine inspired gallery above the Cher River.

Our guide will suggest you places around for lunch before heading back on the road. You will get on the bus at 13:30 for about an hour and a half riding to Chambord.

As soon as you will see Chateau de Chambord, you will be blown away by this architectural monster of incomparable beauty, just like straight out of a fairy tale. This Francois 1st residence is nowadays the symbol of French power and Renaissance art.

You will walk through the different rooms at your own pace and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the estate from the top of the Chateau's terrace, accessible by the famous double-spiral staircase. While climbing these steps, you will understand the technical prowess of Leonardo da Vinci, who was the first painter, architect and engineer of King Francois 1st.

Over the three floors of the keep, you will observe the many details brought to the realisation of this building. Depending on how much time you have left, you can stroll through the park and admire the view of the castle.

By 17:00 join your group at the end of this second visit, and you will be driven back to Paris for an arrival planned around 20:00.
