Morning dedicated to wine-tasting theory and techniques in a professional tasting room
Your tour will start with a scenic drive to the foot of the Mont Ventoux through the vineyards of the Ventoux appellation. You will discover an outstanding wine estate and enjoy a guided tour of the cellar from the fermenting room (vat room) with tanks to the bottling room.
Discover your 5 senses, blind tastings, the wine's aroma also called nose by practicing wine tasting, and learn how to sample to improve your tasting ability and knowledge. To truly taste a wine, the expert will explain how you must recruit the nose to pick up the flavour scents and the tongue to help discern the tastes. You will taste 5 wines (1 white, 1 rosé and 3 red wines) and the olive oil from the property. On the way back, enjoy free time in Beaumes-de-Venise for lunch on your own.

Educational trip about the wines of the Rhône Valley: “Terroirs” (local products) and French model A.O.C (Registered Designation of Origin), agriculture, geography and landscapes. Enjoy a half-day wine tour with your wine expert including visit and wine-tasting in 2 wine properties located in 2 different appellations:
Appellation Tavel: famous for the Rosé wine which complex nose of summer fruits evolves into smooth notes of pitted fruits and almonds.
Appellation Châteauneuf du Pape: one of the most famous vineyards in the Rhône Valley received the status of a high-quality wine when it became one of the first AOC.
