Enjoy the hilltop villages of the beautiful national park of the Luberon. Panoramic tour of the most famous medieval villages, driving through typical Provence landscapes and lavender fields (during blossom season).
First stop in Lourmarin an artist’s village, set in the midst of olive and almond trees, which has attracted Henri Bosco and Albert Camus. You will have free time in this charming Provencal village to visit its ancient castle and its narrow streets. The village was source of inspiration of Peter Mayle for “A year in Provence”.
Drive through Bonnieux hilltop village and Pont Julien Roman Bridge to reach Roussillon, the “Provençal Colorado” with its ochre cliffs and bright coloured facades. Enjoy free time to visit the village or walk along the Ochre trail during a 30mn walk (entrance ticket not included).
Finally, we will visit Gordes, listed as a national monument and considered as one of the most beautiful village of France, site classified by UNESCO.
